Time does fly. This week seemed to breeze by. Of course there were a couple of days that were slow and methodical, but overall I am surprised that there is only one more week in my internship. I have been enjoying myself in this internship. This last week I finished up visiting the majority of the departments of StoneAge except for small assembly, which I hope will happen next Monday.
The work on my project has come to a short halt in which I have to wait for the piece to come out of the shop to test with. Making Friday much slower than anticipated. However helpful I was for organizing downstairs in preparation for next Thursday's event. After the product comes out of the shop I will have to do plenty of tests to see if what I created actually solves the problem that the ABX was having. Rick told me that his first project, a high pressure seal, took him 3 months of testing before he had a product that was complete and ready to go out to costumers. So, it would be a miracle if I could have mine ready to go by next Friday. Other than that I have had another great week at StoneAge and look forward to the next.
